Writing with others is a great way to share motivation. Even writers who already have critique and workshop groups can benefit from a burst of accountability. Meanwhile, writers who have no interest in critiquing or workshopping but need to get butt-in-seat can struggle to find a space that is all about the act of writing but not all about getting feedback on their writing.
